Not all buyers are necessarily interested in “older homes”.  Ranch-style homes are also prevalent in Denver.  A ranch-style home is a domestic architectural style found throughout the United States.  The ranch house is noted for its long, close-to-the-ground structure.  It also has minimal exterior and interior decorations.  Although found throughout the United States, ranch-style homes are popular in Colorado due to the south-western feel of Colorado.  These particular houses fuse modernist ideas and styles with notions of the American Western period working ranches to create an informal and casual living style.

Another popular style home in Denver is the craftsman style home.  The American Craftsman is an American domestic architectural, interior design, landscape design, applied arts, and decorative arts style and lifestyle philosophy that began in the last years of the 19th century.  It remained popular into the 1930s.  However, in decorative arts and architectural design it has continued with numerous revivals and restoration projects through the present time.
